Setup Requirements
Before connecting Lawmatics, confirm you have:
Active Lawmatics subscription: You need a current Lawmatics account with access to your firm's data.
No admin consent required: Unlike Microsoft integrations, Lawmatics connections can be set up by individual users without tenant-level approval.

Troubleshooting
My API key isn't being accepted
Data isn't syncing between Lawmatics and August
Check that the connection status shows "Connected" in the Integrations panel. If the connection is active but data is missing, verify that the clients or matters in question exist in Lawmatics with the expected data. New records may take a few minutes to appear after creation in Lawmatics.
I need to reconnect or update my credentials
Disconnect the integration from the Integrations panel, then reconnect using your current credentials. This is useful if your Lawmatics API key was rotated or if your OAuth session expired.
