Integrations Overview
Connect August to the email, document, and practice management tools your firm already uses, then ask Assistant to search them or import files into a project. Integrations work on demand: August reads from the connected service when you or Assistant ask, and nothing syncs in the background.
Microsoft Outlook Integration
Search mail, read threads and attachments, and draft, reply to, or send email from a chat.
Microsoft SharePoint Integration
Search SharePoint and OneDrive files and import them into August.
Google Drive Integration
Search Drive, list a folder's files, and import documents into August.
Dropbox Integration
Search Dropbox, list a folder's files, and import documents into August.
Lawmatics Integration
Look up matters, contacts, tasks, time entries, and invoices, and write tasks, notes, and time entries back with your approval.
Clio Integration
Matter and contact search, document import, and matter linking for practice management context.
iManage Integration
Search, browse, and import documents from your firm's iManage workspaces and libraries.
NetDocuments Integration
Import documents from your firm's NetDocuments cabinets, search them from a chat, and save work back with your approval.
Browser Sites and Saved Logins
Let Assistant browse websites for you, including sites behind your own login.
Before you connect
Each person connects with their own account, and August sees only what that account can see in the connected service.

On-premises SharePoint is not currently supported. SharePoint Online (cloud only) is required for integration.
If you don't see an integration, your firm admin may have turned it off for your organization, or it isn't enabled for your account yet. Admins choose whether Outlook, SharePoint + OneDrive, Google Drive, and Dropbox are available from the Admin page. Lawmatics, Clio, iManage, and NetDocuments are rolling out gradually, so ask your firm admin whether they're enabled for you. If your Microsoft 365 tenant restricts user consent, your Microsoft administrator approves August once before anyone can connect. iManage also needs your iManage administrator to register August in iManage Control Center.
How to Connect an Integration
Connect from your profile, or from the chat composer the first time you need a service.
Open the account menu (your name in the sidebar) and select My profile.
Select the Integrations tab.
Click Connect next to the service.
Sign in on the provider's page and approve the permissions August requests.
You return to August with the account listed under that service. To connect a second account for the same service, click Add another account, then click an account to make it the Active one. NetDocuments allows one account per person, so connecting again replaces it. Click Remove on an account to disconnect it.
In a chat, the composer's Integrations menu shows Connect for services you haven't connected yet, and a switch for connected ones. Turn a service on to let Assistant use it in that chat.
Authentication and Security
Every integration signs you in on the provider's own page, so August never receives your password:
Outlook and SharePoint: Microsoft sign-in (Microsoft Graph)

Clio: Clio sign-in
iManage: iManage sign-in with PKCE
NetDocuments: NetDocuments sign-in
Your credentials are never stored by August. Authentication tokens are encrypted and managed securely according to August's Security and Privacy Overview.
