Run a workflow
Open the Run workflow modal to start a workflow on demand. The modal shows your workflow’s default inputs, source documents, and context, and lets you add files directly from your computer before you click Run.
Start the run
In the Workflows panel, select a workflow and click Run. The Run workflow modal opens with the description Provide this run’s inputs. Workflow defaults are included automatically.
Choose source documents
The Source documents section lists files and folders already selected for the run. Click Add documents or Add or edit documents to open the document picker. The picker shows the label Choose files or folders to include in this run.
In the document picker, you can also upload files directly from your computer. New uploads merge into the current selection rather than replacing it.
Review inputs and context
The Inputs section displays the workflow’s default context with labels such as Expects and Always included. Matter Intelligence chips appear when the project has Matter Intelligence configured. These inputs are automatically included and do not need to be re-selected.
Add optional Additional context if the run needs extra instructions beyond the workflow defaults.
Run the workflow
Click Run to start execution. The button changes to Running while the workflow executes. You can monitor progress in the activity log.
Workflow email tasks create or edit Outlook drafts only. They cannot send email automatically. If a workflow includes an email step, the run will produce a draft in Outlook rather than sending a message.
